• This item just came out but I took my Kindle Fire HD to Greece and had no issues just needed a converter plug. Some places had USB chargers in the wall outlets too.

• It doesn't have duel voltage..... You WILL NEED A CONVERTER

• The input voltage is 5 Volts DC. It is the power supply (charger) that is of concern. Fortunately, all power supplies work on 115-230 volts. All you will need is a plug adapter for Brazil. They are inexpensive and available in many stores and online.

• I think they said that the plug is American plug you would have to order a different one from Kindle or Amazon.

• That's correct, however, you will still need the charging converter/adapter for the plug itself.
