• If you're not a heavy user, you can get two to three days, sometimes more on a charge.

• When I'm not using my Fire, I turn on airplane mode to save the battery life since it's not using the Wi-Fi during that time which can kill a battery pretty fast. So I can go a couple of days without charging it. Not sure of how long it takes to charge, but its usually not long.

• Baty life is good for 10+ hr Windows downloading uses a lot of baty life. Charging from 10% to full is about 4 - 5 hours. You get 2 USB cables, use the cable with out the resister/filter attachment..
