Some at least, It is Android based so most should work but that is not a promise that all will work on it. Some games take real gaming PCs to run right. This device is NOT in that league.

All games in the app store.will download but a few are slow and have their own quirks.

Hello, Shadow! There are a number of apps and games that are available on the Fire HD 8 Tablet. Many of them are also available on Android devices. There are certain games that aren't available, but without knowing which ones you are interested in, it is hard to tell you for sure if it is available on the Fire Tablet. You can search on Amazon for the apps and games that can be downloaded to the Fire Tablet, so that could be an option to see if the ones you are interested in are available. Have a great day!
