“I see differing answers on whether you can get gmail on the Fire hd8 tablet AND whether you can transfer and download your ITunes library onto the device. Does anyone know the answers to either/both questions? Thanks.”

yes you can get emails of any service on the tablet. there is an app for that. lol as for your itunes library yes you can. I transferred my music over to an micro sd card and found a music app and it works.

Don't know about iTunes, but gmail and outlook both work fine.
