I initially purchased books from Amazon to read on my phone, and later purchased an Amazon Fire 10. All my books automatically showed up on my new Fire 10. A few months later, I bought an Amazon Fire 8, deciding I would like a smaller tablet for reading, and all my books were on the Amazon 8. FYI -- Same thing happened with all the mp3s I purchased through Amazon; they all appeared on every device with the Amazon Music app.
A:AnswerIt has backlighting which I find great. All of my Kindles have had that,,,and I have had 7 or 8 now. Pass them on to others when I outgrow them! LOL The price is great!
A:AnswerI don't use the sound option. I like only to read and play Candy Crush and I wouldn't want to hear Candy Crush music. (noise) I read a lot and love my Kindle!
