Yes, you can using apps like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, Max etc. If you are asking if you can use this as a stand-alone monitor, I haven’t tried it yet (you’ll need a usb c-to-hdmi/usb abc/ethernet/rbg cables to test or screen mirroring) which work well with ipad pros though.

As the community member before me responded, yes you can definitely watch movies on this amongst quite a bit more as it is a fully fledged tablet and our highest end model to date. As for movies, specifically, you can download a number of apps like stated before from the Amazon Appstore (while some may require subscriptions) or you can use the plethora of free movies and shows that are at its disposal from apps like Freevee, Tubi, Pluto, etc and if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber as well, Prime Video is available as well.
