i still get buffering on some shows and movies null

Lower the resolution from 1080p to 720. Works for me since I have slow internet. Should be somewhere in setting of app your using.

Run a speed test on your internet connection to verify your speed should be 5 MB or better I have att I get about 18 MB. If you go to google and search for internet speed test it will do all the work you just follow the instruxtions

It depends on the quality of the stream and the speed of the connection. You can encounter some buffering with hd streams, but it it's a lot better than a dipstick.

Have you tried to clear your cache?

That is probably because your internet connection is too slow not the Fire stick.
