This is not true. You have other options, including Kodi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you go on line and look up Kodi.TV and how to install it in your Firestick, you get HD movies and TV shows and premium sports all for Free. It took me a while to do my first one but the other's I've done in less than 45 minutes. With the Amazon FireTV stick without Kodi, I'm not sure if the few things that are free come in HD. Most of the things you have to subscribe to or pay for.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Besides my Amazon Fire stick I have a digital HD antenna and I watch many programs free over-the-air that are HD some 720p and 1080i and 1080p so you're good if you want to get an antenna and save money on cable
