• The Fire TV has better performance (faster hardware) and 4K (UHD) support are the main differences. Has an ethernet port so it should provide a faster broadband connection over wireless (in most cases).

• I have found the stick is slower. The TV has a larger built in memory I have both and I find that I have little to no issues when using the TV versus the stick. With the stick I find that it takes longer to load and sometimes experiences buffering issues, locks up and can kick me out and restat.

• FireTV has a faster processor, USB port, ethernet port, 4k support, and voice remote that the basic stick does not have.

• 2 things: 1) Firetv can be hardwired directly to internet connection. 2) Firetv has more memory so u can install more software

• Portability, and the tv has a quad processor so it loads a little faster.
