The Fire TV has better performance (faster hardware) and 4K (UHD) support are the main differences. Has an ethernet port so it should provide a faster broadband connection over wireless (in most cases).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found the stick is slower. The TV has a larger built in memory I have both and I find that I have little to no issues when using the TV versus the stick. With the stick I find that it takes longer to load and sometimes experiences buffering issues, locks up and can kick me out and restat.
