• both remotes will work. also you can download the firetv app for free if you have an android phone and use it as a remote.

• These remotes work on Bluetooth technology. A regular fire stick remote should work. Also there are Iphone and android apps that allow u to use your smartphone as a remote, totally free.

• You can use the fire tv stick remote. Don't know how you would pair it though. I would ask Amazon

• Careful the remotes are linked with the device, so another remote may not work unless you get the factory to help

• Download the Fire TV app for your phone. It will allow you use your Phone as a remote. FYI, this works much better than the supplied remote.

• You can down load the remote app for fire stick or tv box If you have an iPhone go to the App Store an get the app It works on both.
