There are no monthly fees from Amazon for the device. If you have an Amazon Prime account already then Amazon Prime TV is already included in your membership.

I believe there is only cost when you go through Amazon for shows and movies. It will say when you try to look at certain ones, you will have to subscribe and they will bill you.

Not unless you subscribe to Netflix, Hulu, Sling, etc. The good thing with this is you get to choose.
