All u need is an Amazon account to tie the device to.

Hi Lynn, All you will need for the Fire TV Cube is power, an open HDMI port in the back of your TV and Wifi. This device will give you access to thousands of apps that will allow you to watch what you want, with out paying for things you do no want.
