The new Amazon Fire Cube is a terrific piece of technology. It’s a huge step up from the previous model, with a more powerful, faster processor, more memory and, of course, Alexa. Winning combo. The result is markedly better sound and clearer picture and better colors. I bought mine on sale. Great win-win you’ll be happy that you bought!

This has become my home entertainment centerpiece its very convenient. Using arc technology on my Sony TV I can use thise to control my TV, soundbar, cable box, bluray player, and some other household things not directly connected to the tv; i can give alexa commands for random stuff. Faster than the first gen and you can add additional storage if you need with a flash drive.

I have been using Amazon fire stick for the past couple of years and ran out of storage space so I decided to upgrade to the Amazon cube. I really like this product it’s easy to use and I enjoy the voice commands. Strongly recommend.

Great product. Voice recognition is flawless. It controls my cable box, TV and sound bar. Setup was very simple and easy, just follow the prompts. I bought a second as a gift.

This fire cube works awesome and I get so many moves on it. I have three of them now. I highly recommend them. The picture is Crystal clear. Beautiful color.. and the price is even very great!!

I loved my 1st gen Fire TV Cube but found it was starting to be sluggish so upgraded to the 2nd Gen. Works must faster however when watching 4K action sequences there is a horizontal line that ‘tears’ the screen. I know this issue is with the Cube because when watching the same content thru that native Samsung TV app this does not happen. Not sure if I got a bad Cube or if anyone else has this issue?

I have several Fire Sticks, and I enjoy them. But THIS is what I should have bought first. I love it, the clarity, crispness of audio through my surround sound. Excellent! I do not think you will be disappointed.

I like this a lot it works pretty good sometimes it does have problems ask the question but other than that I really do like it

A great way to view TV and listen to music!! We love Alexa! Happy that it connects with Cat 5 cable leading to a much better streaming experience!

Great device, smooth, fast, and great price. But I have to return the one I bought for replacement because there are some apps downloaded that don't display their logo, and title. I don't know what is wrong with it.

Connected with samsung smart TV and echo studio as a home theater. Pro: faster than old TV, many channels. Con: too many ads, always TV on while playing music on echo, bad built in speaker, weird design of wire connector. Rather buy $50 cheaper fire tv stick 4k.

This is as fast and as good as any Streaming device out there, I've tested the new shield Pro and other devices, this one is just as fast, the main thing I like is I love the Alexa/Amazon setup, the only thing you can't do with it is, it will play 4K Movies & Shows as will the 4K FS, but only on Netflix, Hulu, Youtube and other places, but it won't play the bigger 4K files or the biggest ones you can using Real Debrid on Cyberflix and other apks and on Emby and Plex servers, those 4K files are too big, for some reason only the Shield Will play those properly with the internet speed of over 100, otherwise your set to do anything you want on this device, get a good memory stick if you need more storage, It's my main device, 1080p is just fine for me and most 4K.

This is hands down the best streaming product available under $200 anywhere in the US. I own multiple streaming boxes and I can clearly tell you this is it. Very fast performance. Multi-function remote that works all of your devices including television and soundbar. 16GB of storage. Alexa built in (can be muted). Optical out. Comes with a gigabit connector. Small presence. Multiple status lights.No like of sight needed for the remote. Works with Bluetooth keyboards, speakers, etc. Parental controls. Did I say ease of use? This box simply works, allowing me to stream all of my content - from Amazon Prime to Disney + Hulu HBO Max Showtime Netflix Paramount+ and many others. Plays games. Displays weather. Connects with other Alexa's in the house for multitude of uses. It seems to be at least 2 times the power of a Fire TV Stick 4K, maybe more. Plus it doesn't bog down like those other streaming boxes. Try one out. i own several. They all work great!

Plug in hdmi to fire tv and tv and setup is a breeze. Requires Amazon to work. Wouldn’t want to use this without it. The 2nd gen is substantially faster then the 1st. Makes using and surfing a pleasure. Once you connect up all your apps, you don’t need anything else. It works on everything I use. And very well.

I’m an Apple fanboy. I have an iPhone, an iPad, and a MacBook Pro. But I have to say, the Amazon Fire TV environment just has more apps, more usability, and just works better. Not to mention, the remote is leaps and bounds better than the AppleTV remote. The Fire TV Cube just takes what’s great about the Fire TV Stick 4K and an Echo Dot and mashes them together with an even better processor. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to sell my AppleTVs and get these instead.

I hate reading instructions, so I just plugged in the cube to its wall power adapter, and threw in the batteries in the remote. Screens and Alexa's voice told me what to do! I have a odd sound bar but the FireTV Cube found my Boston Acoustics TeeV26! In no more than five minutes, maybe only four (?), I was breezing thru my streaming channels. It automatically installed all of my many streaming apps from my old FireTV Stick. I bought this for the double memory as the stick was running out of space and I had to remove an app to add one. It is also noticeably faster responding and the voice control is way better than my 4K stick. One note here* I so far have turned the cube sideways so it can control my TV and soundbar, but eventually I may set up the IR remote feature. It works remote only without the cube 'seeing' the TV or the soundbar, but if you want full voice control, the cube, or the IR sensor (included) must 'see' those devices' IR (remote) windows.

After much research I finally elected to buy this gizmo and I'm so happy I did. We bought a Smart TV when they first came out but it just wasn't cutting it with only 1 gb of memory and shows kept getting hung up. But this little cube does the trick and was so easy to install. It has it's own Alexa voice setting but also works with Alexa on my Echo Tower close by. They don't fight each other. I was easily able to add Netflix, Prime, and other apps to the queue and the playback is perfect. The remote that comes with it works well and sometimes I prefer it to the voice controls as saying the right words to get Alexa to move can be tricky until you figure it out. Like, "Alexa, switch to cable", not "Alexa, go to cable." After trial and error we found we did need to use the IR Extender Cable to do the Home to Cable switch. That might be because of my Xfinity Cable service. I also boujght the Sideclick Universal Remote attachment as suggested to further add capability to the Cube remote and only have one controller. Howerver after sever attempts my research showed it probably wasn't compatible with my Xfinity service or it was defective. I returned it with no problem and stopped there. But I truly do Love my Cube and highly recommend it.
