Over the last few years, I paired my Logitech remote with my Alexa dots and was able to control my televisions with success; although, I had to do grouping so that Alexa would know which tv I was talking about. To the rescue comes the Amazon Fire TV cube that does it all. Very easy to setup with my televisions and AV receivers. There is only a few glitches that I see...you can't have the device too close to speakers or you will not get a response. At times, it seems that the cube goes into some type of hibernation mode as it fails to respond to the wake word. I was not able to set it up perfectly with my cable box, so when I need to make changes to cable tv, I use the cable box remote. Now that I have discovered the cube, I have extra echo dots and Logitech remotes that will are gathering dust until I figure out what to do with them. All in all a good product and it will get better with time!!! I will update my review as I have more experience using the cube!!

This is a great streaming box with outstanding picture quality. This is a major step-up from the generation 1 Fire TV Cube in that it is super fast. The Gen 1 became slow and disappointing. This is a great streamer and worth every penny. The only issue is occasionally, it does't "hear" your request at first but that has to do with the volume of your TV. But it's not troublesome.

Does more than I thought. Turns my TV and soundbar on and off by voice. Also changes the HDMI inputs by voice. Great picture on a 4K TV. I have it on a shelf in the entertainment center and no problems hearing me or hitting it with the remote. Didn’t need the IR extender but it comes with one.

I had a regular fire stick the one before the 4k. I bought the cube because my firestick was running slow. When I set it up and started using it rite away I notice a different. It was much faster and smoother. And you can install way more apps. Give this five stars very happy.

This is super awesome if you have a tv that is not a smart tv or if you want voice control. Easy to set up and use and alexa is great. We use it primarily for video streaming and music . You can voice command tv, music, random questions or what ever. If i could i would buy everyone i know one

Family loves this device. We have a Roku but decided to try something new since we have Alexa devices throughout the home. It is definitely a nice addition. Many nice features but most importantly streaming is excellent. Pretty good user interface. Picture quality excellent

This fire tv cube does everything! From being the main control point for my tv, sound bar, smart lights, Nintendo switch, PlayStation to regular TV. I am able to navigate using voice or the remote. Alexa works with the tv on or off. I like this better than the expensive nvidia shield!

I have bought several of the fire tv sticks, 4k, and they work nicely but when I bought the cube I found it to be much faster and with the Alexa right in it, this thing turns the tv on and off and changes channels quickly. I have now bought three for my house.

Best fire TV product yet. 16 gigs of storage means that you’ll never run out of room for apps. The speed is incredible, especially if you use an ethernet cable to hook directly to your router. Quality of video is amazing. This is a perfect complement to our fire TV recast.

I have the Fire TV Cube hooked up to my smart tv so that I get the Alexa voice functions and smart home integration. It works pretty well, however it has intermittent issues turning on/off the TV (LG) and A/V receiver, but I think that its because of where I have the device placed. It's processor is adequate for snappy response, and the 16GB storage is sufficient too.

Set up was easy. Better than fire stick and user friendly. You can turn on and off tv with simple commands. You can search other stream programs by issuing commands. It is kind of pricy. You can now search and buy on Amazon Prime. Many command features, still learning.

Surprisingly easy to install and configure. Plug it in and it detects your services. Can switch from antenna to Sling for example - upon command. Has a large "vocabulary" - logical commands to operate Connects to other Echo devices Really fun and quite handy to use.

I bought one of these a month ago, I now have 3 of them. It controls everything, I ask the weather, I ask to turn on tv, I ask how is the LG washer doing. Everything is simple and now I’m all in. I tell it to go to Netflix, as well as set the temperature of my house.

set up was a breeze I can use Alexa via voice control to power up TV, change source on TV, control volume on TV and or home theater, I can change which streaming app I want to use and call up programs/movies to watch. I've had fire sticks before, but this cube is AWESOME.

I already have Alexa and Prime. This made it easier to control my Prime Video through my TV. Its great with 4k and it lets me start my movies through my Alexa. This also works with my Ring Doorbell allows me to see who is at my door through my TV.

This does everything the competitors do and so much more. For the most part you can control everything by voice including turning your TV set on. Remote is still recommended to be close by but not always needed. Great picture and sound quality as well!

The processor is fast. Everything loads up quickly and enough memory to put on wjat you want. The one bad thing is that trying to hook it up through the eithernet port it keeps on losing it's connection but if you do it through WiFi its works with no problem. Just wish it would work with eithernet port so the connection is better and dose no drop signals.

This is the best of all the Amazon devices. It is fast and has 16 gig of storage compared to only 8 on the fire sticks. I would recommend the Amazon Cube to anybody over any of the fire sticks. To me the higher cost is worth it.

It is great for what it is. The CPU is faster than a firestick, and this is noticeable when navigating. I got it for voice control, and while some may not appreciate the ability to transcend the remote control, I find that useful.

The cube is the next step up from the fire sticks I love my cube plus it has Alexa voice remote and I have my ring attached to it so it announces through the cube if someone's at my door great product
