The programs you mention are not available for free with the fire stick. There is a CNN compilation version, which is a selection of news from the day, but not in real time. You can receive the free CBS news channel with the stick, which is a dedicated channel relaying news of the day in real time, and it also offers documentaries on demand. Local tv stations are only available through an app for that station, but come with a monthly fee. If you prefer CBS, then Paramount + is your best option. For NBC, you can choose Peacock. And so on. The good news is that they typically offer a cheaper subscription with more advertising. This one costs around $5-6 a month, depending on the station, or around double that if you want fewer commercials. Most offer a trial period for free to give you a chance to decide if it’s the right app for you. And, if you want cancel after signing up, you can do that monthly with no cancellation fees.
