• There arent any channels, this uses apps like prime, amzon music, netflix and many many more. I do believe you may possibly be able to purchase a local channel app but id double check prior to purchasing

• Depends upon which apps are installed on the fire stick. Are you attempting to be totally free or reducing your expenses. An antenna will get local channels, 3 rd party apps will access some premium channels.
