To use your compatible device in a different supported country, you will need to change the country settings for your Amazon account. Here are steps on how to do that: 1. Go to “Manage Your Content and Devices” on your Amazon account. 2. Open the Preferences tab. 3. Go to the Country Settings section, and select Change next to your current country. 4. Enter your new address, and choose your new country. Then select Update. 5. In the notification that displays on-screen, select the learn more option, and then select Transfer your Kindle account to or Update your default Kindle Store. 6. On your Amazon Fire TV, select Home > Settings > My Account from the menu, then select Deregister. 7. You are prompted to Register your device again. Re-enter your Amazon account information to register your Amazon Fire TV for use in your new supported country. According to Amazon's website, the following countries are supported: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Japan, India, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden. Set up your Fire TV and Echo devices, then check for software updates. 2. Open the Alexa app . 3. Open Devices . 4. Select Plus and scroll to the bottom of the screen. 5. Select Set Up Audio System. 6. Select Home Theater. 7. Select your compatible Fire TV device. 8. Select up to two compatible Echo devices to use as speakers. 9. Select left and right speakers when using two Echo devices. 10. Name your home theater and assign it to a room in your house. 11. Once you register your Amazon Fire TV device and connect it to the internet, add the DIRECTV STREAM app. Search for DIRECTV STREAM in the Amazon App Store.     • Answer Not necessarily. We use an old cell phone charger to plug it into the wall. It does work better plugged into the wall for power vs getting power from the tv.
