• Probably but not an easy set up. But in what scenario would you want to record a program if this is for streaming services that most likely will be there later to watch multiples times?

• the Firestick uses HDMI, you could therefore connect it to an external recorder to DVR the video output from the stick. however, it sounds like you may be better off getting the Firetv Recast. its an OTA DVR that directly casts through your Firestick.
