• It depends on your interest. They aren't really many channels. But many apps such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Pandora radio, and fox news channel. There is an option to download games but you would have to purchase the Amazon Game Controller.

• No it does not work like that, it uses apps. You can get certain apps but they are not channels. It streams Internet content.

• After you register your device on Amazon, you will go to Apps and if you want one app, before buy, you will on your right if this app will work on your device. Have Discovery channel, Animal Planet Channel, History Channel, etc

• You do not get cable channels,you can just get they're apps to watch contact they load on they're websites.
