Kind of. Sling TV is a service from Dish that you can buy that a Fire Stick can play. Depending on your plan you can get live TV for the channels you mentioned. Otherwise, without a Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime subscription, your options are limited. The Fire Stick doesn't have normal TV channels on its own.

You can get Sling TV which is what I have. Don't know about brovo but it has hgtv and I think it has diy (or at least you can pay a little more $2 along with a few other channels. We cancelled our TV substricptions and got Sling. Paying less than half and I get all the channels I actually care about

No, this only streams from the internet via Amazon App store apps. This does not have a cable hook up like a cable box. It's like a smartphone for steaming movies on TV.
