• I would say probably not, unless they have apps our you Google a way to sideload an app like Kodi which may allow you to install live tv, bit don't count on it.

• Depends on which app you download onto the stick. There are tons of free apps or paid to have access to cable channels.

• A Fire stick is not a television receiver. It gets content from the internet from various sources. If your local stations broadcast content on the internet, you would be able to get the content through this stick (and with some broadcasters, this may involve paying them so that you can get the content over the internet). Since the stick is actually running software to do this, there are a lot of options to install additional software to get the content that you want.

• If the channel has an app, like I know CBS does, then yes. But you still need to log in to a service provider as well.

• I know you have to have the internet to use the fire stick if you want movies but I don't recall ever trying to watch the local channels with my stick
