• You have to sign in with an Amazon account, or create one. No way around it, that I am aware of. You can log out of the account in the settings after you get into it. However, it will then take you back to the sign in page.

• On the left side ->settings-> then all the way to the right "account" The stick requires Amazon account to work You can try to keep hitting the home button but it will keep snapping you back

• This is unavoidable. You must register it. If you don't want to use your own, try creating a new account and using that one.

• You need to register the stick if you plan on adding or modifying it. You can deregister the stick and anything that you may have side loaded will remain on the firestick.
