“Recently purchased an Amazon Fire TV Stick, so far a little disappointed with the service. Whenever we stream movies, it buffers constantly or just pauses on it's own. Is this something to do with my internet speed? We have 25 Mbps, I read that 20 is good”

But when i first purchased i constantly had to move it around because it did the same thing. I got sick of it and bought a wifi extender for 50 bucks and that problem was gone. My laptop, xbox and everything else i own is strong enough to stream upstairs in my house without problems but the firestick buffered like your saying. Id recommend buying an extender forsure. Plus, it helps all your other devices, i placed mine halfway between my firestick(room) and motum (downstairs). hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go to settings and Clear catche that should help your issues. I personally use the hot spot off my phone and never have had buffering problems. But we have read up on memory space issues, so I would recommend that 1st. Then check your router and service
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't agree with the 20 I have no problems with it but I get 150mbs but seen it work great on 40mbs. Also run a speed test I'm guessing you will only be getting around 10mbs .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does the same thing to us but you are streaming for an unknown source. Sometimes I pick a movie that's in a lower resolution or lower HD. It can be nerve racking.
