Some TV's are REALLY SMART. I have a SHARP 60' TV that has wifi capabilities. I had to figure out that it had to do with the INPUT. In most TV's you need to make sure the INPUT-setup in your TV is not protected or blocked. You will have to play around with it or find the instructions on how to unlock the input on your TV. This should be in the setup of your TV. Once you have unlocked it you should see the input light up, and then when you plug in your fire stick to the right input then it should appear as long as your WIFI connection is working or you have a strong enough connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will also need to plug in the power cord. It's marketed as a plug & go, but it also needs power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once you plugged Fire TV stick on HDMI port then you should select "Source" on TV and select the respective HDMI port. Check for "Source" button on the remote and try.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might want to try and connect again because you should have been prompted to connect it during your set up. There is a way to reset the stick because my son reset one of mine that was having problems with Kodi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You also have to have the fire tv stick attacked to a power source with the usb cord that came with it. Without power it won't work or be found when it is attached to an HDMI port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hope I caught you before you go to the high-priced geek squad. Don't forget to plug in the power cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, I would check the supplied power adapter is switched on and plugged into the stick. Also double check which HDMI input you have connected to (some TVs have 4 these days) If that doesn't solve it - Id return the item so they can test in store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem at first. So I went online and asked the question on the amazon fire stick website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This may be a dumb question but did you also plug the power cord into the wall or usb port. The HDMI port doesnt power the device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would contactAmazon, they made it. They have customer service reds that can answer your questions about the Fire Stick. It sounds like it might be a faulty device.
