• the reason you can't pick up wi fi , is because you didn't download the correct app. for the fire stick.

• If your WI-FI speed is not fast enough(around10mbps), it will not connect.

• Make sure you internet settings are not blocking the stick. Also reset your router after you hook the stick up then search for your Wi-Fi signal
