Please try again later.I am assuming that since you have internet you also have a modem and your computer is hardwired to this modem, meaning that you have a cable connecting your computer to your modem. Now you have to decide if you want to purchase equipment or rent from AT&T. If you rent, they will take care of everything. If you want to purchase your own equipment you can buy both the cable modem and a wireless router or a all in one unit. You then will have a wireless setup, or wifi, and can connect all sorts of equipment to the internet wirelessly, like your Smart TV, Amazon Fire Units, smart phones like the iPhone or an Android phone.

Please try again later.I think ATT Uverse should include wifi as part of its modem, no extra charge, it's supposed to be included with the internet package, that's how my sister's Uverse is. Contact ATT to find out if you have wifi as part of your internet, I just checked the website's support and it walks you through finding your modem's wifi password.
