Just YouTube kodi on firestick. If you really want to cut the cord, this device is amazing. Live tv is hit and miss on kodi,but if you wait about an hour after a show airs, it like having a cloud DVR. Ever show is available, so you can cut out cable completely. All you would need is Internet.

I pay around 80 dollars in the bay area. Most apps need you to sign in to your existing cable provider but you can get a sling subscription for like 12 bucks a month.

It depends on what you watch and how much. We do keep basic cable but you don't have to do that.

I dropped my DirecTv Bill from $201/month to $34.95. The only reason I kept my Genie DVR in the living room is so that I can record a few shows in high def and watch ESPN live without buffering. Otherwise, I "jailbroke" my firesticks by installing Kodi on them. Learn how on YouTube. Very easy to do right while it is plugged I to your tv.
