• Hold the remote upside down facing you so that you can push down and forward to open the battery compartment. Slides out very easily with not too much force.

• All you need is two (2) triple AAA batteries, slide the cover off of the back and insert.

• The backing slides up ,but not all the way it will stop and then it comes off

• The back of the remote is removable. It's kinda hard to slide off, sometimes u have to push down on it and slide it back. Requires 2 aaa batteries

• You Slide the battery cover down on the back. This remote takes (2) AAA batteries. The Remote is Bluetooth, so you have to make sure it is paired with your Fire TV Stick.
