Works pretty good with 15 MB connection but would recommend high speed to avoid lots of buffeting and video drop out. 4.8 is very slow for video, it will work great for music.

I personally feel it's too slow, I wouldn't be using any streaming service with Internet slower than 10Mbps.

If you're streaming freezes up from your Blu-ray player it will most likely also freeze up and require additional buffering with the firestick.

according to amazon, Standard Definition (SD) videos: 900 Kbits/sec
High Definition (HD) videos: 3.5 Mbits/sec. speed depends on your connect ( wireless or hardwired), also depends on your wireless router.

You need over 5Mbps for HD streaming. If you do not have the speed it will buffer.
