My granddaughter is 3 and she LOVES this Tablet. The games you can download for free from Amazon are obese that can be updates as they grow up, just like a regular Android Tablet or Apple IPad. The case is very durable with alot of shock absorbing protection for frequent "drops" from little fingers.

I think as long as the tablet is protected with a solid case and screen protector with the right parental measures put in place, your 4 year old will stand to gain much.....downloading books, movies, and essentially stimulating her interest in technology which as we all know is essential today's day in age. Before considering Amazon Kindle or any other tabs designed specifically for reading I would suggest looking in this tablet as the features are 10 fold in comparison to some of the lower end tablets on the marker. "Google Play" offers an infinite amount of applications that can be downloaded seamlessly. Great product....LTE service available as well....plus.

But I really wish they would've had something like this when my kids were little. I let my nieces use mine (ages 5 & 7) when they're sitting on the couch. There's a huge number of learning apps that you can download. They absolutely love it & I use it as a reward for them. They're crazy about it.
