- Answer Hello, VAG888! I don't believe this is the "International Version" of the device. Normally it would say that it is the international version of it in the product description. I'm not sure how you want to use it in other countries, but I have multiple Kindle devices I have traveled with. I usually don't download books while I'm traveling, but I have no issues with reading anything while outside of the US. I hope that helps! Have a great day!

- Answer I'm not sure if you can transfer your existing subscriptions, but I know you can subscribe to several different newspapers from the Kindle store on the tablet.

- Answer Hi KJ, There is no app store on the kindle. Hoopla does not have support for Kindles at the moment, but Overdrive and Libby does. When you go to your Library's site, you would look for "kindle" e-titles. Hope that helps.

You can tell it is the Oasis if it has an area on the front with two buttons that can turn the page. If you search for the Oasis, you can see what it looks like to compare your device.
