Hi Dan! There is no micro SD card slot on any of the existing Kindle devices, so you can't expand the storage. How many books or comics you can have on the device at once is always going to be variable based on the size, with full color comics being much larger than traditional books, but all of your purchases are always available to immediately re-download so you don't need to worry about losing access to your library long term.
