I’m sure there’s a place in Settings to extend the amount of time before the screen sleeps/locks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there! Kindle's generally turn their screen off after around 10 minutes of inactivity. If you'd like to keep your Kindle from going to sleep, you can type "~ds" without the quotes on the search screen to disable the sleep mode. This will last until you restart the device. Disabling the sleep mode will mean that your Kindle will keep showing whatever you have on it and stay unlocked, which could affect how long the battery will last. Unfortunately there is no other way to change how long it takes the device to lock at this time. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
