Yes. The settings are inside the book as she is reading. See photo 1. Click Page Display. At the bottom of the list is Low Vision. Click Low Vision, and it magnifies the text. See photo 2.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! The fonts can be made quite large, actually. This is my 4th Kindle - they all are capable of enlarging the font. Never thought I'd prefer this to real books but I love not having them stacked up everywhere and I love not having to go to a bookstore to find something to read. The paperwhite editions (glare proof) are my particular favorites and I love that I can light the screen up in different degrees too (not so bright to brighter), Good Luck!
