Don't waste your money getting one without special offers. They only show up as a cover page when the Kindle is off and when you first turn it on, but once you go to your book you will never see them again until you turn your Kindle off. Save your $20. I was concerned at first that they would be like those stupid banner ads that you see on web sites, but they're not. Like I said save your money. But if you really want to spend the money, you can pay for the special offers to go away through your Kindle, but I don't think that once you see how they work that you'll want to waste the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this one has special offers, but they're only on the lock screen, so for me it's really not too big a deal. It's not like the offers are popups in the middle of your reading experience. The only time you see them is prior to entering in your passcode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can tell by the price if it has special offers--it costs less than the version without. The special offers only appear as a screen saver when you are not using the Kindle, so they are very inobtrusive. In any case, you can always stop getting the offers by paying a fee ($20, I think) on Amazon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is. I think the $119 version is the one that has special offers. Frankly speaking, I don't the ads annoying at all
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has special offers. But they don't really bother you. They are their when you turn it on but I just ignore them. They only update when you are connected to Internet. I only connect when I want to buy or download a book.
