Most books can be shared with other Kindle readers. You need to go to your Amazon account, click on the box next to the book, if it is a book that can be loaned, you will see "Loan this Book", click on that, put in the person's email and once they get notification, they can click on the link and download to their Kindle. Keep in mind that if you are loaning a book, it will not be available for you to read while the other person has it.
