A:AnswerHello! Here are the steps to downloading books from the library to your Kindle Paperwhite: 1.Get a library card and a PIN from your local library. 2. Go to the website of your local public library and search for "Kindle books" or "eBooks." 3. At checkout, sign in to your Amazon account and select the device to which you want to send the book. 4. Connect your device to Wi-Fi and download to the title from the Archived Items or Cloud. Some titles may require USB transfer from your computer to your supported device. I hope that helps. Have a great day!
A:AnswerKindle will display the language of the book which is from Amazon's library of books. I've read plenty of books that have been translated into English from Russian so the source Russian books are available.
A:AnswerMy last paperwhite did this to me as well. Then it wanted upgrades that I could not get to download. I had left it sitting for several months and wonder if this added to it's death. I called Amazon customer service and they were not very helpful unfortunately. I ended up buying a new one about a month ago.
