“Why I have to pair it with Bluetooth device ( Samsung Tv) in order to listen to audible books? I have to buy HD cable in addition to do it? So frustrating”

• Hello Nancy, the Kindle Paperwhite does not have internal speakers to play audio books. In order to listen to an audio book through the Kindle you will need a pair of Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speaker. Have a great day!

• The device's waterproofing makes a headphone jack impractical. CHEAP Bluetooth headphones or a receiver work great with ours. Most cell phones don't come with a headphone jack anymore either.
