Hello, Belle! Yes, the Amazon Kindle Scribe Colorsoft allows you to read books from your local library via Libby, provided your library is in the United States. Because the Kindle Scribe runs on Amazon's proprietary operating system rather than Android or iOS, you cannot download the Libby app directly onto the device. Instead, you use the "Send to Kindle" feature: Borrow on a separate device: Open the Libby app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Select "Read with Kindle": When you borrow an ebook, tap "Read With..." and select "Kindle." Amazon fulfillment: You will be redirected to Amazon’s website to sign in and "Get Library Book." The book will then automatically appear in your Kindle Scribe library over Wi-Fi.
