    • Answer Hello MrGonzo, The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is designed to have up to 8 Weeks of battery life with regular reading. This battery life can drop off however depending on use. For example, increasing screen brightness, note taking or drawing or heavy page flipping can decrease the battery life. For example, If you were reading a comic or graphic novel and were flipping the page more regularly, this could diminish the battery life faster. I will say from personal experience, my wife has the standard colorsoft, not the Scribe. I gave it to her in December, she reads regular books without color and ocasionally reads magazines with color about 3-5 hours per week. She has not had to charge hers yet. It really is on a case by case basis, depending on brightness, page turns, and use. I hope this answers your question!

It can hold thousands of e-books and hundreds of audio-books simultaneously. Amazon also offers unlimited cloud storage of all your purchased content to help manage your library. This allows you to offload e-books and audio-books you aren't currently using and re-download them instantly whenever you're ready, effectively giving you access to your entire library without the need for extra physical space. The Amazon Kindle Scribe Colorsoft has excellent organizational features designed to keep your notes and documents well-organized such as color coded highlighting, filter by color, AI powered search, cloud sync and smart summaries. Each document can be sorted into folders and subsections stored locally on the device and can sync to the cloud. In regards to pinch and zoom theAmazon Kindle Scribe Colorsoft does not currently support pinch-and-zoom functionality for document writing. The device is designed as an e-reader and note-taking device, not a traditional tablet. You can expand or collapse margins in documents and notebooks to adjust your view, but traditional pinch-and-zoom gestures are not available. I hope this answers your questions! Looking at my own local Best Buy, it looks like they sold out pretty quickly. I'm only getting the option to be notified for when they are available for order or store pickup. I would say you're best measure would be to keep an eye on Best Buy's website, or stop in to your local store to check as availability may be different in certain parts of the country.
