  • QuestionHave the notebook features been upgraded at all? The first gen Scribe doesn't allow for pinch to zoom and also doesn't have great organizational abilities. Have they fixed these issues? I can only find information on the first scribe online.

The Amazon Kindle Scribe Colorsoft has excellent organizational features designed to keep your notes and documents well-organized such as color coded highlighting, filter by color, AI powered search, cloud sync and smart summaries. Each document can be sorted into folders and subsections stored locally on the device and can sync to the cloud. In regards to pinch and zoom theAmazon Kindle Scribe Colorsoft does not currently support pinch-and-zoom functionality for document writing. The device is designed as an e-reader and note-taking device, not a traditional tablet. You can expand or collapse margins in documents and notebooks to adjust your view, but traditional pinch-and-zoom gestures are not available. I hope this answers your questions!     • Answer Hello, The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft was launched at Best Buy on December 10th. For availability, I would recommend using Bestbuy.com or stopping in to your local store for availability. Looking at my own local Best Buy, it looks like they sold out pretty quickly. I'm only getting the option to be notified for when they are available for order or store pickup. I would say you're best measure would be to keep an eye on Best Buy's website, or stop in to your local store to check as availability may be different in certain parts of the country.     • Answer Hi Lizzie! While you can change the page color in an individual book, Colorsoft devices like the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft do not support dark mode in the menus and interface.
