I waited over 6 months for one to come to my local store and finally I just ordered it and waited. Thankfully it didn't take long to come in. The store manager said they probably won't be coming into stores because they are pushing the HD Fires' (tablet, color, HD, blah blah). I wanted the Paperwhite specifically because they don't hurt my eyes when reading novels. If you want this one specifically, I would just order one. Worth the wait.
