• Yes, around our house we have a USB hub with various cords connected for charging anything from iPhones, Android phones and just about anything in between - I just connect my Kindle to whatever is open and charge without any problem.

• I use my Iphone6+ USB adaptor to AC for charging. I have not had any issues with it. I have even used my computer to charge my Kindle Voyager.

• Yes you can use the AC adapter as long as you use the kindle's USB to micro USB cable.
