• No you have to buy a case. I would recommend the one that I think are called origami-- very cool and easy to hold. Whatever you choose, be sure it is a smart case.

• Yes, the case is a very nice leather case which is included. This improves on the otherwise high cost of the device. The case is magnetic and locks the device into it, and charges it with 2/3rd of the battery inside it.
