• If your pc has the ryzen 3 3200u (15 watt dual core laptop apu with 3 gpu cores) that they put in cheap desktops then yes this would be a good upgrade. It works with the “AM4” slot.

• No. Socket type is important, your motherboard based on your current cpu has a socket type of FM1, FM2, or FM2+. This CPU fits a socket type of AM4 thus it will not work.
