Honestly... while you will get more from the 3700 for performance because of the additional cores (30% faster at computations while overclocked) if you are just doing this for a hobby save your money and go 3600. But if time is money obviously more cores are better suited and of course paired with a decent gpu in either case you couldn’t go wrong. Also for gaming it doesn’t really matter on most triple A titles because the gpu should handle the brunt of it.
