Yes, I have the exact same motherboard in one of my miners and it works fine. Just make sure to update to the latest BIOS from your motherboard mfg website before installing the new CPU.

Some of the MSI B450 gaming plus boards were sold during gen 1 and gen 2 Ryzen, and there is one that supports third gen Ryzen out of the box, however they all support gen 3 Ryzen but a bios update may be required on a older board, which may require you have a gen 1 or gen 2 Ryzen.
