That would depend on a number of factors. First would be your budget. You can use this processor on some of the highest end motherboards available today. It will also run on the lower end b550 chipset. Do you intend to game? Stream? Encode video? What do you use your computer for most? This is a good processor, and the x indicates that it is not locked, so with a good motherboard you will be able to squeeze more performance out of it; how much depends on each individual chip.
