Something like the Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Formula, or similar from other manufacturers. A waste of money if you are not overclocking or running the 3950...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any motherboard with an AM4 socket will work with this CPU. This is the motherboard I have with this CPU: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10#kf Another good brand to look at is MSI motherboards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you can afford a motherboard that has Realtek1220 sound, it is well worth it. Difference is playing sound at level 13 instead of 80, such as on a Realtek883 sound chip and getting a loud sound without shrills or distortion, even when you turn it up from 13 to 50... An Asus Rog B450 has this for a budget board, but Zen3 will not work on the B450 I don't think. Zen3 is supposed to be X570 only. I guess because of PCIE lanes and such. Plus you give up the PCIEx4 if you go with the B450 all together.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put my 3700X in an MSI X570 Gaming Edge WIFI and could not be happier. You do not need to update the BIOS (UEFI) with an X570 board before you fire it up. M450 boards work well too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know but I am using an MSI MPG X570 Gaming edge WiFi with this CPU
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hmm, if I had today I would pair it with a MSI b450 tomahawk MAX as it has a really good vrm heatsink doesn’t cost as much as others and leaves room to over clock but if you want something more future proof other options might be worth for more money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX especially if you want an affordable and great quality motherboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really depends on what you want to do with it. I would recommend a B450 board like the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max if you plan to game, stream and edit videos. For around $100-120, last time I checked, it is a very very good board for the Zen 2 CPUs. If you absolutely need the speeds of the Gen 4 PCIE slots, for constantly copying, importing or exporting large files, I’d say go with the X570 Taichi. For under $200 I believe, and you’ll have the support for Gen 4. If you need WiFi 6, you can look at MSI X570 Unify. $300 and you get WiFi 6, 3 Gen 4 pcie M.2 slots, 4 SATA ports and an amazing VRM that can handle the temps of even the 3950X with no issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I paired with an ASUS x570 Rog Strix-E
