The Ryzen 7 3700x is not a graphics card like the 2070 super is, it is a processor(CPU). The 2070 super is the part that handles ray tracing, and the 3700x processor would not hold the 2070 super back in anyway.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is not a gpu only a cpu. The 3700X is plenty for a 2070. It's much faster than a 2700X. It's as fast a a 9600k in gaming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes I have one
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a CPU not a graphics card and has nothing to do with ray tracing. It does, however, remove any bottlenecks you might have experienced before with some games
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.first this is a processor (CPU) not a graphics card (GPU). I ran a 2070 super at first with this build and yes Ray tracing was available for the games that have it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Ryzen 7 3700X CPU will play well with your RTX 207 Super graphics card, and yes, this includes handling Ray Tracing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This isn't a graphics card, it's a cpu. And no it's not going to hold back your 2070 super. Just make sure you give it good cooling and precision boost will handle the rest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm running a 2080ti and it's been fine. I do VR racing sims most of the time which are notoriously bad for CPU bottlenecking and it hangs in there really well unless I try something stupid. Basically the physics threads just aren't optimized well in these titles and don't take advantage of multiple cores very well. Even with that said I have never been happier with the performance of my system since upgrading. I haven't done a lot of ray tracing titles (the Quake II demo) and it seemed like it was more GPU heavy anyway. I think that most of that stuff is done on the video card. I reserve the right to be completely wrong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This would not hold your gaming performance back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ray tracing is tough right now on any graphics card, so there will be a performance hit on anything. But your GPU should be able to handle it almost as well as a RTX2080
