Dell inspiron 5675 uses a proprietary board on a X370 southbridge while the chipset could theoretically handle a 3rd gen Ryzen this ain't going happen because of actual physical limitations of the motherboards hardware. Boards made to single use specifications almost never have any future proofing designed in.

Please try again later.Your Dell is an AM4 Socket which is the requirement for the 3rd Generation Ryzen 7 3700X, however you need to contact Dell to see if your current Bios will support the new chip. You can go on Dell's website and they should list all available updates (including bios updates for support of next gen Ryzen 7 3700X) It should be a direct upgrade with only a BIOS update at most.
